Your Dogs Will Be Treated with the Highest Level of Care while at Rub-a-Dub-Dog. Remember, Generation Dog is "Where Dogs Are Family" and Your Family is Our Family!
Your dog gets a warm bath, a towel rub down, a blow dry, then a brush down and spritz with the scent of your choice. We'll also make sure his or her nails are clipped and filed, ears are cleaned and plucked, and that those pesky scent glands are expressed. Your best friend will be strutting around with his or her bow(s) or bandana and ready to cuddle on the couch when you pick him up! We'll even send home a gourmet dog biscuit for later!

We'll also provide your choice of a facial treatment, teeth brushing or a 15 minute doggie massage. Your dog will be picture perfect and ready with his or her bandana or bow(s) when his chauffeur arrives to deliver him safely home.

Do you love your dogs but hate their shedding? If so, this package is the one for you. It combines all the services of the Bath & Biscuit Package with the revolutionary "Furminator Treatment" especially designed for dogs with an undercoat that sheds. You'll be amazed at how much hair ends up in our trash instead of on your floors! The Furminator's Three Step Process Includes 1) A bath with special Furminator Shampoo, (2) Application of Furminator Shed Free Solution to Loosen Undercoat and 3) Treatment with the Furminator De-Shedding Tool to Remove Excess Hair. The Furminator removes so much hair that your dog may feel naked so we finish off with a bow(s) or bandana to make him feel covered. This a great alternative to shaving bigger dogs in the warmer months!

We all love our dogs - but some go that extra mile to make sure their little prince or princess is ready to rule his or her kingdom. This package combines ALL of the services from the above packages, including all three options from the Dapper Dog Package - teeth brushing, facial treatment and a 15 minute massage - and the addition of a paw moisturizing treatment that helps soften dry, cracked pads and a paw-di-cure with the color polish of your choice. We will also provide a 15 minute walk mid-way through his or her services and gourmet iced treat from our bakery case. This package is truly a day of barking beauty for the dog that doesn't want for anything. To complete your pup's spa experience, you will be able to select a rhinestone hair barrette or pendant from the boutique. After all, no pampered pooch should be without a little bling.

Color Enhancing Treatment - $5
Application of special shampoo that targets and enhances your dog's natural coat color. Available for dogs with White, Blonde, Brunette or Black Coats.
Paw-di-cure - $10
Polish your dog's nails with the color of polish of your choice.
Moisturize/Trim Pads - $10
Soak pads in a solution to soften dry, cracked skin and trim any dead skin off of the pads. Following this treatment, we will finish with an application of paw balm to further soothe the pads.
Facial Treatment - $10
Cleanse stains around eyes, mouth and inside skin folds and treat with a special tear stain solution to lessen the reddish brown stains common especially on white dogs.
Teeth Cleaning - $10
We use special toothpaste designed for dogs and brush their teeth in addition to applying a special spray that helps to remove tartar. This is not the intensive cleaning that your vet performs but will help promote clean teeth and fresh breath, especially if maintained between visits at home.
15 Minute Doggie Massage - $10
Relaxing, gentle strokes that sooth and relax your dog. Even if you pet your dog frequently, this concentrated time is sure to make his experience more pleasurable.
Deep Conditioning Treatment $10
For dogs with incredibly dry, irritated skin or hair, a deep conditioning treatment will help sooth itching and restore shine and luster to the coat.
Trim Feet, Face or Tail Area -$10-20* ea
Even short hair dogs sometimes need a little tidying up in certain areas. If your dog only needs one of these areas addressed, you can add it on to the Bath & Biscuit package. If one or more areas need attention, the Dapper Dog Package would be the better choice for you. Shaved Face is charged the same way as a trim and would be included in the Dapper Dog Package but Shaving the feet incurs an additional charge. (See Below)
Shave Feet - $10-20*
This service is typically used for poodles. It is different from trimming the feet and is not included in any grooming package listed above. If you prefer this traditional look for your poodle where the toes and nails are visible, please let us know at the time of booking so we can allow additional time as needed. This service may be an option for other breeds to make polished nails more visible.
Most of the services that we provide are not practical to perform without a complete bath package. There are a couple of exceptions to this rule listed below. No appointment is needed for these services. Just stop by during our regular business hours and we will work your dog in for this quick service. You may be asked to wait until one of groomers is available.
Nail Clip/File - $15
If all your dog needs is to have his or her nails clipped and filed, you may purchase this service a la carte without scheduling a full bath.
Bow Application - Your Bow or Groomer Bow - $5 per bow
Bring in any bow of your choice and one of our experienced groomers will position it in your dog's hair.
Full Coat Surcharge - $10
For dogs that are kept in full coats (Shih Tzus, Malteses, Yorkies, Havanese, etc.), more time is often required to groom them despite the fact that their weight is comparable to short haired breeds. This charge compensates for the additional time required to groom these dogs.
Touch Up - No Charge
If you get home after picking up your dog from his grooming appointment and notice any hairs out of place or decide you'd like a little more length removed in a particular area - such as the ears - you are welcome to come back within 48 hours and we will be happy to tweak the haircut. This is only possible if hair is still clean and the dog does not need bathing. We will strive to have the same groomer do the touch up but this may not always be possible due to scheduling.
Excessive Matte Fee - $10 & up*
When a dog presents for grooming with excessive matting, even if we are cutting the dog's hair short or “shaving” the mattes out, we do often have to work more slowly to prevent razor burn, nicks and other stress to your dog as a result of this condition. As a result, you will be charged if additional time is needed to safely and comfortably groom your dog.
Late Pick Up Fee - $5/minute
We strive to provide all the dogs in our care with personal attention. If you are late picking up your dog, it infringes upon the next appointment by preventing us from getting started on time, or detracting from the undivided attention that our groomers provide to each client. As a result, we reserve the right to charge a late pick up fee of $5 per minute after a 15 minute grace period has been extended.
Convenience Fee - $5
We understand that there are occasions where you need for us to charge your dog's services to a card on file, or to charge a card over the phone. We are happy to accommodate your needs but since we are charged higher fees for credit card transactions that are not done with a card in person that can be swiped, we reserve the right to charge this convenience fee to offset these increased costs.
Buy Out Fee - 50% of your scheduled services
In order to better accommodate our customers in a timely fashion, we now have two groomers working at all times. As a result, your dog may be present at the same time as another dog. The dogs will each be attended by a groomer, and will be in separate areas but may be able to see one another at times. If your dog is aggressive or highly agitated around other dogs so much so that you do not want another dog present during his or her service, you will have the option to “buy-out” the second appointment slot. The amount of this buy-out will vary according to the amount of time that your dog needs to be here for his or her grooming. As such, the charge is 50% of the amount of your dog's services. We will also require that your appointment be scheduled first or last on the day in question so that our second groomer can either arrive late or leave early to accommodate this solitary time for your dog.
Cancellation/No Show Fee - 100% of your scheduled services
Since we work by appointment, we can only see a limited number of dogs in a day. As a result, any last minute cancellations or “no shows” detrimentally affect the income of the spa and the groomers. As a result, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before your dog's scheduled appointment and we cannot rebook the time, you will be charged for the scheduled services. No Shows will be charged.
Insufficient Funds Check Fee - $30
Any checks that are returned to us will be charged this fee, in addition to the amount of the original check. If you do not make good on any insufficient checks within two weeks of being contacted, information will be turned over the authorities, who will then charge additional fees.
Pick Up/Drop Off Fee - $10 per one way trip
If you need assistance getting your dog to and from the spa for his or her grooming, please let us know and we will strive to arrange transportation for you through our sister company, Home Sweet Home Pet Care. Within a 5 mile radius of our location, this flat fee will be charged for each trip. Please inquire if you need transportation outside of a five mile radius and we will provide you with a quote.
* Pricing cannot be confirmed until your dog's coat condition has been evaluated by the groomer who will be performing his or her services. We will strive to notify you of any additional charges in advance.
